WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two

for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint James Dukes Place
London, That

the Wife

Samuel

hadwho hath deceited her had
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and is likely to become charge
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the Said Frances as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Frances
to be in the said Parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate
and that thitherto the ought by Law to be sent.

our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for her according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this fourth Day of Novr. One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Eighty three
