The King on the Prosecution of John Dent< no role >
against
William Parker< no role >

John Dent< no role > of Bow [..] Street in the parish of Saint
Paul Covent Garden Gentleman the prosecutor above named
Arthur Simpson< no role > of the Strand in the County of Middlesex Clerk
to the said John Dent< no role > and John Turner< no role > of Spring Gardens in
the liberty of Westminster Gentleman severally make oath and
first the Deponent Simpson for himself saith that having received
instructions from the said John Dent< no role > to Subpeena John
Pennington who this Deponent is informed and believes
to be a material Witness for the prosecutor on the tryal
of this Indictment-this Deponent did accordingly attend
on the fourth day of June instant with a Subpeena at
the house of Mr. [..] Southgate in Hatton Street Holborn
where this Deponent was informed and verily believes the said
John Pennington< no role > had Lodgings and was then [..] informed by
Mr. Weale the brother in Law of the said John Pennington< no role >
that he the said John Pennington< no role > had lodgings in the said House
but was gone into Gloucester shall for the space of about
a months then last past and that he would return to London
in about a week or ten days but that he could not tell in
what part of Gloucester stine the said John Pennington< no role > was
which information of the said Weall this Deponent verily
believes to be true And this Deponent Saith that he hath
since the said fourth day of June called several times at
the said John Pennington< no role > 's Said Lodgings and particularly
in the morning of this Day whenhe wasthis Deponent was
informed
