Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Mary at Hill London
Sheweth
That by virtue of an Order or pass Warrant
under the Hands and Seals of Williamss Comer Esquire Lord
Mayor of the said City of London
and

Esquire two

his Majesty< no role >
's Justice of the Peace
for the said City bearing
date the thirty first day of January One Thousand Seven hundred
and eighty two Jane the Widow of
Robert Walls< no role >
having
then lately come to reside in the Parish of Allhallows
Barkin
not having obtained any legal Settlement there It was
Adjudged by the said Magistrate Ripon due proof made
before then that the parish of Saint Mary at Hill was the place
of the last legal Settlement is the said
Jane Walls< no role >
to which
Parish She was accordingly removed.
Your Petitioner's conceiving themselves
So be greatly Aggrieved by the said Order
or pass Warrant humbly appeal to
your Worship and pray relief in the
premisses and that a day may be
Appointed for heaving and determining the
said Appeal
