At the General Sessions of the peace of our Lord the King holden
for the City of London on Monday the 2d. day of Decr. in the
23d. year of the Reign of our Sover Lord George the 3d. King of
Great Britain Etc before Nathaniel Newnham< no role > Esqr . Mayor of
the City of London Brass Crosby< no role > Esqr . one of the Aldermen of
the sd. City James Adaie one of his Majestys Sergeants at Law
Recorder of the sd. City Thos. Sainsbury Esqr . one thereof the
Aldermen of the sd. City & others their fellow Justices of our sd.
Lord the King assigned to keep the peace of our sd. Lord the King
within the sd. City & also to hear & determine divers felonies
hereafter & other misdeeds committed within the sd. City

Whereas at the general Quarter Sessions of the Peace of our Lord the
King holden for the City of London at the Guildhall within the sd. City on
Monday the 14th. day of Octr. in the 22d. year of the reign of our Sovr.
Lord George the 3d. King of Great Britain & John Eyles< no role > Esqr . Warden of his
Majesty's Prison of the Fleet did exhibit his Petr. & appeal settingforth
that the Petr. by a Rate or assessmt. on the sevl. Inhabits. of the Parish
of St. Bridget otherwise Brides in the Ward of Farringdon witht. in the City
of London made & assessed on the 17th. day of April last for the relief of the Poor
from Christmas day to Lady day last hath been as and Inhabitant of the sd.
Parish suted or assessed to pay to the relief of the sd. Poor the sum of £13..6..8
