He should get the Money "That the third Man then said he
would endeavour to settle the Matter between them and for That
purpose put down a Drapt for £50.10.0 (as it appeared
to this Informant) and five Guineas and then requested this
the said third Man then drew a conditional Note for this Informant
to sign and which this Informant did Sign, importing the
this Informant was to keep Possession of the Ring till in
Phillis met this Informant that Afternoon at 4 o'Clock at
the Fation Inn in the Borough when said Phillis would< no role >
give this Informant the £61.0.0 deposited and the
£100 as this Informant's Share. That the said third Man
then wrote said Phillis's Address now produced and gave
to this Informant. That this Informant accordingly by went
the Fation Inn as the appointed time but said Phillis [..]
Met him, nor he known there at all. And this Informant
further says he is very sure that the said Phillis made
use of the artful devices before stated with Intention to
get this Informant's Money from him and accordingly did
steal his said five Guineas
