Guthery for the said Febry, and believing her Trial would
not come on before this Morning, he this Deponent
went away and got some Refreshment And he this
Deponent Further saith, that he was not absent when
called to give Evidence against the said Bridget Guthery< no role > ,
through Fear , Favour or Affection towards the said Bridget
Guthery, or through any Hope or Promise of Restitution
or Reward from her the said Bridget Guthery< no role > or any
other Person or Persons whom soever, but the sole Cause
and Reason why he this Deponent went away and
guitted the Court last Night, was under a firm Belief
and Persecasion that the said Bridget Guthery would
not be tried untill this Morning
