Hicks's Hall Prisoners upon Orders.

John Cox< no role > , convicted in February session, 1778, at the session of the peace for the
county of Middlesex held at Guildhall , Westminster , on an indictment for a certain
misdemeanour ; was ordered to be imprisoned in Newgate for the term of 3 years.

Also convicted on another indictment for a certain misdemeanour; and ordered to be
imprisoned for the further term of 3 years, after the expiration of his former sentence.

Also convicted on another indictment for a certain misdemeanour, and ordered to be
imprisoned for the further term of one year after the expiration of the last of his
for mer sentences. Was set at large in the riot of June 6, 1780; and being
retaken, is secured in New prison .

William Ransmore< no role > , convicted at Hicks Hall in September session, 1780, of an
assault , and committed to be imprisoned 3 years in Newgate. Is secured in New
prison.

Abraham Mayhew< no role > ,}
Convicted in July Session at Hicks Hall of petit Iarceny, were
ordered to be publicly whipped, and imprisoned 3 years in
Newgate. Were removed to New prison for safe custody, but have since the last
session escaped therefrom.
