Elizabeth Martin< no role >
for herself saith, that on
Wednesday Evening, she missed three Earthen Distres
and six Earthen Plates out of her Houses, and she
verily believes two of the Plates now produced, to be
two of the Plates she missed, but as to the other
Plates and Dishes, she cannot speak to from any
Pattern or Mark And the said Thomas
Pickering
for himself saith, that on Wednesday
Afternoon about seven O'Clock, he was washing
his hands in the Wash House of the abovenamed

, and heard a clattering of earthen
Waer in the Necessary House which adjoins the
Wash House Informant called out to know
what was the Matter, and pushed the door of the
Necessary open, when he saw the Prisoner, who
told Informant he had borrowed a Plate to get some
Salmon inthe Prisoner then came out with a
bundle of PlatesInformant asked the Servant if
she had missed any Plates, and being told she had,
Informant Followed the Prisoner into Fleet Lane
,
and saw him offering the Dishes and Plates
now produced, in a Shop there for Sale
Taken and sworn at Guildhall
