Who being on Oath says that on Saturday evening last about
eleven o'Clock he stopped with his Coach No 991 at the
door of Mr,, Wells in Smithfield
to Water his Horses
That as soon as he was got off his Coach Box on the Pavement
a person now present who calls himself John Pilkington< no role >
came up to him in Company with two other Men, That
the said Pilkington asked him how he did, and at the same
Moment put his right arm across him, and with his Left
took his Watch out of his Fob That he immediately Collared
him and Charged him with robbing him of his Watch, an which
said Pilkington held up a Stick and Swore he would cut him down
if he did not let him go That said Pilkington with his
Companious got into a Hackney Coach and they drove away
out of this Informants Sight
