and first this Informant

for himself
saith that on Wednesday last the 16th Instant between
ten and Eleven o'clock in the Evening he stopt Patrick
Kendlen the prisoner now under Examination in
Queen Street
Cheapside
with an Iron bound porter
Cask made to hold fifty four Gallons Beer measure
which Cark is now at the Door, that on stopping shown
he ask'd said Kendlen whose Cask that was, and he replied
directly, not yours, he then delivered the Man into the
Hands of the Watchmen and acquainted the Informant
Scarff with what he had done, And this Informant

the porter Cask above mentioned and that the same
is the property of

, Brevers and Co partners in
Trade, says that the same was put on the Outside of
the premisse, of said Calvert and Company in Frequency
Lane with some others to be filled with Beer, and
further says that the said Cash is of the Value of
the Shilling and upwards.
