contrary there hath been a certain Court of our Said Lord the King and
his Predecessors called the Wardmote held and to be held in every Year upon
the Feast of Saint Thomas the Appostle
to (unless the said Feast
happened to be fell on a Sunday and in such Case upon the Day then next
following the said feast)further Aldermanbefore the Alderman of the
Ward aforesd for the time being or his Deputy in which said Court
according to the Custom within the said Ward for all the Time aforesd
used and approved to witat Drapers Hallin the said Parish of Saint Peter le Poor

Baptistin the Ward aforesaid all the Men Inhabiting and resiant
paying Scot and bearing Lot for the tune being within the Ward
aforesd have been used and Accustomed and ought and were bound
by reason of their Residence there to appear in the said Court and
do their Suit there and in the said Court according to the Custom
of the said Court yearly for all Time aforesaid the said Men
