Hatter and Hosier Who being on Oath severally say and
first this Informant Margaret Belchier for herself saith
that she saw John Bailey< no role > the prisoner now under
Examination come into the [..] Shop of the other
Informant Richard Swaddle< no role > on monday the 30th. day of October last past and immediately following
Patrick Madan< no role > This name instance is in set 2639. another prisoner now also under
Examination, and as if in Company with the said
Patrick Madan< no role > This name instance is in set 2639. , and as she was calling to the said Mr.
Swaddle to come into the Shop she saw the said John
Bailey take a Quantity of coloured Silk Stockings from
off the Shop Compter of the said Richard Swaddle< no role >
and immediately carry them away out of the Shop, and
the other Informant Richard Swaddle< no role > for himself
saith that theEdQuantity of Stockings above
mentioned to be taken by the said John Bailey< no role >
was a bundle containing twenty seven pairs
which were of the Value of twelve pounds and
upwards.
