Who on their Oaths severally say
and First the said
James Eastwick< no role >
for himself
saith, that on Tuesday Morning last about ten
o'Clock, the Prisoner
Elizabeth Jones< no role >
now under
Examination, came to his House and had some
Purl Says, that he very well recollects to have
used the two Quart Pewter Pot now produced
some time before the Prisoner came to his
House on Tuesday MorningSays, that he did
not miss the said Pot, untill he was informed the
same was found upon the Prisoner, when he
discovered that the Pot was his Property
And the said John Scandret< no role >
for
himself saith, that he receive Charge of the
Prisoner
for Feloniously stealing several
Pewter Pots, amongst which was the two
quart Pewter Pot now produced, together with
several others, and which were concealed
under the Apron and tyed round the Waist
of the Prisoner
And the said William
Richard for himself saith, that when the
Prisoner
was apprehended he was sent for
and heard her Confess freely and voluntarily
without any Promise of Favour, that as
well the two quart Pot, the quart Pot now
produced his Property, as all the other Pots
found concealed under her Apron, were stolen
by her.
