Who being upon Oath say, and first the said Charles Vincent< no role >
says
that a person now present who calls himself Samuel Newton< no role >
has drove his Carriage three
or four times as his Coachman, and that four Plate Chaise Glasses now produced are
his property, and were feloniously stolen out of his Chariot last Nightthe said Richard
Evans says, that the said Chariot and Horse stands at Livery at this Informants
Stables at Lambeth Mash aforesaid-That the said Samuel Newton< no role >
[..] came to
him yesterday Evening, and said, he wanted the Chaise to take his Mistress
to Hammersmith
; on which he let him have the said Chaise and Horse-Says
the said Samuel Newton< no role >
[..] never returned with the said Chaise and Horse, but
that he yesterday at about 9 or 10 o Clock received the same from a Man who
appeared like a Coal HeaserThe said Barnard Barnard< no role >
says, That last
Night a little part nine oClock the said Samuel Newton< no role >
offered this Informant
the said four Plate Chariot Glasses now produced to Sell in Devorshire Street
facing Bishopgate
Street in the City of London
and left the same with him, (he not having Money enough to purchase them) on which he appointed the said
Newton to much him this morning at 8 o Clock, at the Mitre in Chancery
Lane; and the aid Moses Murrant< no role >
says, that he went with the said Barnard
Barnard to see for the said Samuel Newton< no role >
at the Mitre aforesaid about 8
oClock this Morning, and on the said Barnard Barnards< no role >
saying the said
Samuel Newton< no role >
was the person who offer'd the said Glasses to Sale and left
them with him as aforesaid, he apprehended him.
