of No. 79 Snow Hill London taken before
me Brackley Kennett< no role > Esqr .LordMayor
of this City 13 Septr 1780

Who being upon Oath Saith that about 3 OClock Yesterday
afternoon the Prisoner Elizabeth Gouty came with another
Woman into her Uncle William Cordys Shop No. 80
Snow hill and say'd she brot. her to buy a Cloak while the
Cloak [..] was lookt for a Gentleman came in to
look at a Pair of Silver Buckles, That Informant shewed him two Pair
she put one pair up and the other Pair near the Window of the
Ship where the Prisoner [..] on Producing the Cloak the
Woman and not then buylikeit and they both went out of the Shop upon
which Informant missed the Pair of Buckles now produced
and desired the Apprentice Samuel Durant< no role > to Stop the Prisoners & the other woman
upon which he brought them back and upon searching the
Prisoner Informant found the Buckles now Produced concealed
in her Bosom and that the same are the Property of
the said William Cording< no role >
