These are to Certify that at the General QuarterSession of the peace of
our Lord the King holden for the City of London at the Guildhall within the
said City on Monday-the FifthDay of Julyin the Nineteenth
Year of the Reign of his present Majesty William Ellis< no role >
was and stands Indicted for assaulting Thomas Gates< no role > one of the Marshalls
of the City of London and in the Execution of his office of Marshall
aforesaid
To which Indictment the said William Ellis< no role > hath not
as Yet appeared or pleaded Dated the Eighteenth day of August
