These are to Certify that at the General Quarter Session of the peace
of our Lord the King holden for the City of London at the Guild hall within the
said City or Monday the Fifth day of July in the Nineteenth year of
the Reign of his present Majesty Joseph Ward< no role > was and Stands Indicted with others
for assaulting Thomas Gates< no role > one of the Marshals of the said City
in the execution of his Office To which Indictment the said Joseph
hath not as ye appeared or pleaded Dated the thirtieth Day of July
in the Year of our Lord 1779
