Bartholomew Hospital London Maketh Oath and saith
that the deced was [..] into the sd. Hospital on the 22d. day
of april last as in Petient on [..]
[..] supposition that he had received a Blow upon his Head that a little
wound appeared upon the Head which Depts. wd not
discover whether made artificially by having been
opened on been given by a Blow: these great quantity
of matter was contained between the Integiments of
the Head and the sewell, and that Dept. prepared out a
quantity of matter the same day: that the following
day Dept. found the deceased not to be better and that Dept
let out more matter; that on the monday following
Dept. dressed the dead again and [..] enlarged the opening
abt. there Inches in consequences of which a large
quantity was discharged and Dept. almost daily
continued to dress the deced and gave him medicine
for the Fever; thatthe continued in thehe daily detained
till his death which happened on monday last the 11th
inst. in the sd. Hospital. say the hurt reced by the deced
appeared [..] to Dept. to be mortal says that
or asking the deced how he had reced the Harts the deced
answered that his Mother in Law had given [..] him blow with
the Bank and of whip

Court Little Fever Hill in the Parish of St. Catherine
in the County of Middlesex Book binder maketh Oath and
saith that or Good Friday last the 17th. of April the [..] of
the dead brought the deced to this Dept. House abt the House for
at noon who told Dept. that his Further desired that Dept. wod.
take the deced to some person to look at his Head and on
Depts. examining the some found is to be very soft upon the
[..] Fore part of it, on which abt. of the some afternoon Dept.
carried the child to Mr. Jonathan Wathen< no role > [..] in out Surgeon
in Walbrook , who on giving his Head said it was of bad
consequence and that Dept. must wit get him in to Hospital and
Dept. endeavored to get him admitted into [..]
