of Saint Magnus the Martyr in
the Ward of Bridge within
London on an Inquisition taken
on the Body of Henry Banks< no role >
an Infant about the Age of nine
tenYears there lying dead.

Henry Banks< no role > the Elder of Hackney Road in the Parish of Saint
Matthew Bethnel Green in the County of Middlesex
Matmaker maketh Oath and saith that on Saturday the
21st. day of February inst. a little before the Han [..] in the
Afternoon as Dept. was resting himself at the Patrick
Block at the Foot of London Bridge in the Parish of St.
Magnus London Dept. having put a Burthen which he
was carrying on the said Block to case Dept. and the deced
Depts. Son bring on the Back of a Jack Ass close to the said
Block [..] waiting for Dept. [..] [..] Cart drawn
by one Horse and the Driver's Name Samuel Peachy< no role >
as this Deponent hath been informed and believed
suddenly coming down lower Thames Street in Order
to go over London, Bridge in turn [..] the said Corner very short
and there being no Person to direct the Cart, the said
Cart ran against the near side of the said assand
[..] with the near Wheel and turned the Ass
round which threw the Ass down and the deced upon
the Pavement and the near Wheel going over the Head
of the deceased instantly killed him.

Porter maketh Oath and saith that on Saturday last the 21st.
day of Febry inst. between the Hour's of five and six Dept. [..]
being [..] very near to St. Magnus Church to saw the Driver of
an empty Cart whise Name as Dept. is informd is Samuel
Peachy drawn by one Horse, which He said Horse twice uponunder
the near side of the Buttock [..] the Cart before
standing still, which [..] caused the Horse to set off
very brich and the sd. Horse turning very short towards the
Corner of St. Magnus Church , the near Wheel of the Cart ran
against a Jack upon which the deceased [..] [..]
deceased upon the [..] and [..] turned the Ass
