MIDDLESEX COMMITMENTS.

Detained by Sir John Fielding< no role > , Knt . on oath of William Hoare< no role > and
Joseph Clack< no role > , for feloniously receiving in the county of Bucks a metal
watch the property of the said William Hoare< no role > , knowing the same to
have been stolen. Dated Dec. 26, 1777.

Detained by Sir J. Fielding, Knt. and S. Wright, Esq: on oath of John
Jordan
< no role > , for feloniously assaulting Mr. Payne and Mr. Simms on the
king's highway in the county of Berks, putting them in fear, and felo-
niously taking from their persons some money their property. Dated
Dec. 31, 1777.

43 Francis Green< no role > , from New-prison , committed by Sir John Fielding< no role > , Knt .
and S. Wright, Esq : on oath of James Boult< no role > and Joseph Clack< no role > , for
feloniously assaulting the said James Boult< no role > on the king's highway, put-
ting him in fear, and feloniously taking from his person a silver watch.
Dated Dec. 24, 1777.

William Hoare< no role > and Joseph Clack< no role > , for feloniously assaulting the said
Thomas Simpson< no role > and William Hoare< no role > on the king's highway in the
county of Bucks , putting them in fear, and feloniously taking from
their persons 2 metal watches and some money, the property of the said
Thomas Simpson< no role > and William Hoare< no role > . Dated Dec. 26, 1777.

sheets , a child's bed-gown, 3 napkins, Etc. Dated Dec. 31. 1777.

of Thomas Yerbury< no role > , on suspicion of stealing a quantity of muslin, the
property of Messrs. Eyre and Hadley. Dated Dec. 24, 1777.

Detained by name of Mary Wood< no role > , otherwise Jones< no role > , by J. Barnfather and
W. Kitchiner, Esqrs. on oath of John Francis< no role > , Thomas Yerbury< no role > and
others, for stealing in the shop of Messrs. Eyre and Hartley, in the
pa-rish of St. Paul, Covent-Garden , a great quantity of muslin, value £20.
