MIDDLESEX COMMITMENTS.

Detained on oath of John Goodall< no role > and John French< no role > , for feloniously forg-
ing and counterfeiting, and procuring to be forged and counterfeited,
and knowingly and wilfully acting and assisting in the forging and
counterfeiting a certain letter of attorney purporting to be the letter of
attorney of the Revd . John Myonett< no role > and the Revd . James French< no role > ,
making, constituting, and appointing the said Thomas Sherwood< no role > their
true and lawful attorney, for them, and in their name, and on their
behalf, to sell, assign, and transfer unto any person, eight hundred
pounds, being all the joint stock of Three per Cent. Annuities of the
year 1751, transferable at the South-Sea House, standing in their joint
names; and for feloniously, knowingly, and fraudulently demanding,
and endeavouring to have the said share in stock transferred, assigned,
sold and conveyed in the city of London , against the statute. Dated
Dec. 26, 1777.

in the parish of Staines in the county of Middlesex , putting him in fear
with a pistol, and feloniously taking from his person one stop watch (the
outside and inside cases of silver) one guinea and an half, 6d. in silver,
and some halfpence. Dated Dec. 4, 1777.

Detained on oath of John Bridger< no role > , on a violent suspicion of feloniously
assaulting him in the parish of Staines, in the county of Middlesex,
putting him in fear with a pistol, and feloniously taking from his person
on the king's highway two shillings and some halfpence. Dated
Dec. 4, 1777.
