To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the City of London in their General
Session of the Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Overseers
of the Poor of the Liberty of Saffron hill Hatton Garden and
Ely Rents in the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn in the
County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by on Order under the Hands and Seals of the
Right Honble John Wilkes< no role > Esqr . Lord Mayor , and Frederick
Bull
< no role > Esqr . one of the Aldermen of the said City of London
bearing date the 28th. day of January last Mary Tate< no role > Widow
of John Tate< no role > was removed from the Parish of Saint Giles
Cripplegate without in the said City to the said Liberty of
Saffron Hill Hatton Garden and Ely Rents as the place of the
last legal Settlemt. of the sd. Mary Tate wherely your Petitioners
conceive themselves to be aggrieved and against the said Order
do appeal.

Your Petitioners therefore most
humbly pray that the Benefit of their said
appeal may be saved unto them until the
next General Quarter Session of the Peace to be
holden for the said City of London And that
your Worships will be pleased to appoint
some Day in the said next Sessions for
the Hearing and determining of their said
Appeal.

And Your Petitioners shall ever
pray Etc.
