The Pauper Ann when a single Person gained a Settlement by Servitude in the Parish of St. Botolph
Allgate London After which She went into the Service of the Father of her Husband and whilst in that Service the Son
Married her at which time he was about the Age of 18 and when it came to be know She was turned out of Doors and
an Application made in the Ecclesiastical Court at Doctors Commons to set the Marriage aside or Account of
his Non Age and it was set a side accordingly as is says

She then Intruded herself into the Parish of sd. Respondts. and Summoned the Church Wardens before the
Present Lord Mayor for Relief and upon her Examination concerning the matter She on the thirty first
Janry last Swore herself to be the Wife of the said Thomas Pettit and his Lordship thereupon was Pleased to
Pass her to his Parish accordingly being the Parish of the said Appellants

In this Case the said Appellants should have appealed at the next Session in Febry But they let
that and April Session Elapse and then came and appealed in May bring the 3d. Session after the said
Order or Pass Warrant was obtained and the Pauper Passed By wch means the Appellants have last the
Benefit of Appealing agt. the sd. Order Therefore You'l Please to move to Quash the said Appeal and
have the said Order Confirm'd

NB The Notice given of the said Appeal is here unto Annexed for Your inspection

To Prove if Necessary that sd. Pauper was so as afd. Married to
the sd. Thomas Pettit}
