Poor of the Parish of Saint James at Garlickhith
in the City of London, and the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Sepulcher in the City
of London
and to every of them.

WHERE AS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof,one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint James at Garlickhith in the City of
London, That William Garfield Symmons< no role > a Lunatic
and Catherine< no role > his Wife an
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Catherine Symmons as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said William Garfield Symmons and
Catherine his Wife
to be in the said Parish of Saint Sepulchre in the City of
London
and that hitherto they ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Janes at Garlick hith in the City of
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said William Garfield
Symmons and Catherine his Wife
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Sepulchre in the City of London
And them deliver unot the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order who is and are hereby required to receive a [..]
vide for then according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 28 Day of January One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Seventy five
