John Slade< no role > of the High Street Southwark in the County of
Surrey Grocer maketh Oath and saith that he this Deponent
was bound by Recognizance to prosecute one Philip Madd [..]
for assaulting Richard Till< no role > this Deponents Servant and brea [..]
his left Leg by driving the Wheel of a Cart over the same [..]
September Session last And this Deponent saith that th [..]
Richard Till was sent to Saint Thomas's Hospital in Sou [..]
and there dyed And this Deponent saith that an Inquisition
was afterwards taken before Thomas Beach< no role > Esquire Coroner
the City of London and Borough of Southwark on the Body
of the said Richard Till and after examining [..] Witness
the Jury found that the said Richard Tills Death was occassion
by Accident and the said Coroner then informed this Deponent
that no Prosecution could be carried on against the said Philip
Maddin
< no role > and this Deponent saith that on that Account he did
not prosecute the said Philip Maddin according to the Condition
of his said Recognizance
