At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the King holden for the
City of London at the Guildhall within the said City by adjournment
on Monday the nineteenth day of December in the fifteenth Year of
the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third King of Great
Britain Etc . Before John Wilkes< no role > Esquire Mayor of the City of
London Frederick Bull< no role > Esquire one of the Aldermen of the said City
John Glynn< no role > Serjeant at Law Recorder of the said City John
Sawbridge
< no role > Esquire Nathaniel Thomas< no role > Esquire Sir Walter
Rawlinson
< no role > Knight George Haley< no role > Esquire other of the Aldermen
of the said City and others their Fellows Justices of our said
Lord the King assigned to keep the peace of our said Lord the King
within the said City and also to herr and determine divers felonies
trespasses and other misdeeds committed within the said City

Whereas by virtue of a Pass Warrant or order under the hands and
Seals of two of His Majesty's Justices of the peace for the said City
(one being of the Quorum) bearing date the fifteenth day of November
1773 Nathaniel Crawley< no role > Mary< no role > his Wife and their two Children
Nathaniel< no role > aged Eight Years and Catherine< no role > aged Eight Months
were removed and conveyed from and out of the parish of Saint
Michael Queen hithe in the said City to the parish of Saint Giles
in the fields as the place of their last legal settlement Now upon
hearing the Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens and Overseers
of the poor of the said parish of Saint Giles in the fields (which stands
duly adjourned unto this Day) against the Warrant and Judgment of
the said two Justices in the presence and hearing of the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of Saint Michael Queenhith
and having heard what could be alledged on either side by the
said Parties their Council and Witnesses in and concerning the
premisses It is thereupon Ordered that the Warrant and Judgment
of the said two Justices be and the same is hereby confirmed and
that the Appeal aforesaid be and the same is hereby dismissed And
that the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
parish of Saint Giles in the fields do maintain and provide for
the said Nathaniel Crawley< no role > Mary< no role > his Wife and their said two
Children until they can free themselves from the charge thereof
by due course of Law.
