Whereas The Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of
Saint Catherine Cree church in the City of London
have exhibitted their
Petition and Appeal to this Court setting forth that by an Order of
Removal bearing date the Twelfth day of this Instant February 1774
under the hands and Seals of the Right Honourable

Lord Mayor
of the City of London
and John Wilkes< no role >
Esquire two
of His Majestys Justices of the peace
for the said City of London
and the
Liberties thereof (one being of the Quorum) Jane Beck< no role >
a Singlewoman
war removed and conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint Botolph
Bishopgate without in the City of London
to the said Parish of Saint
Catherine Cree church
in the City of London
as the place of the last legal
settlement of the said Jane Beck< no role >
and that the Petitioners conceiving
themselves aggrieved by the said Order of Removal humbly appealed
against the same Wherefore at the request of the said Petitioners
It is Ordered that the benefit of the said Appeal be saved unto
them and that the hearing and determination thereof be and the
same is hereby adjourned unto the next General Quarter Session
of the peace to be holden for the said City at the Guildhall
aforesaid
on Monday the Eleventh day of April next at Eight of the Clock in
the Morning and that due notice hereof be given unto the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of
Saint Botolph Bishopsgate
without.
