To the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor & others his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of London in their
General Quarter Session of the Peace for the said City Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church
Wardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Bridget otherwise Brides London

Sheweth


That by [..] Order under the Hands and Seals of James Townsend< no role > Esqr
Lord Mayor & Nathaniel Thomas< no role > Esquire two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the said City of London (one Whereof being of the Quorum) bearing
date the Third day of February Instant Millicent Hill< no role > wife of John Hill< no role >
a Prisoner for Debt in the Bultry Compter and their three Children
to wit William< no role > aged 6 years David< no role > aged Four years and Thomas< no role > aged
one year were removed and Conveyed from the Precinct of White Fryers
London aforesaid to the said Parish of Saint Bridget otherwise Brides
London aforesaid as the Place of their legal Settlement Whereby
your Petitioners think themselves agrieved and Appeal to this Court againt the same
