To the right Honourable The Lord Mayor and others His
Majestys Justices of the peace for the City of London at the
General Quarter Session of the Peace assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Mary Matfelon otherwise Whitechapel in the
County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by a Warrant or Order under the Hands
and Seals of the Right Honourable James Townsend< no role > Esqr.
Lord Mayor of the City of London and Sr. Robert Ladbroke< no role >
Knight two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace in and
for the said City of London (one whereof being of the Quorum)
bearing date the 30th. Day of December 1772 John Siddall< no role >
Margaret< no role > his Wife and their four Children to wit John< no role > Aged
Seven Years, Elizabeth< no role > aged 6 Years, Eleanor< no role > aged 4 Years,
and William< no role > aged 2 Years, were removed from the parish
of Saint Botolph Bishopsgate London to the Parish
of Saint Mary at White Chapel in the County of Middlesex
as the place of their last legal Settlement

Your Petitioners conceiving themselves aggrieved
by the said Order of Removal do humbly appeal
to this Court agt. the same praying such Relief
in the Premises as to this Court shall seem
meet And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
