To the Worshipfull his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the City of London and Liberties thereof, in their
General Session of the Peace at Guildhall Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden within the
City and Liberty of Westminster in the County
of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a pass Warrant or order under
the Hands and Seals of the Worshipfull Brass Crosby< no role >
and Samuel Plumbe< no role > Esqruires Alderman of the said
City of London and two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace Acting in and for the said City of London and
Liberties thereof (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing
date the Twenty Sixth Day of June One thousand seven
Hundred and Seventy two Ann Hanson< no role > (Wife of Robert
Hanson
< no role > who had deverted her) was removed from the
parish of Saint Faith under Saint Paul's London
to the said Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden as the
Place of her last legal Settlement Whereby your
petitioners think themselves aggrieved and do Appeal
to this Court against the same.

Your Petitioners therefore pray this Court will
be pleased to appoint a Day in the present
Session for the hearing and determining of the
said Appeal And that all Persons concerned may
be then directed to Attend

And Your Petitioners shall pray Etc.
