Constables, and other Officers of the
Peace whom it may concern, to re-
ceive and convey. And to the Church-
Wardens, Chapel-Wardens, or Over-
seers of the Poor, of the Parish of
Saint Giles in the Fields
in the County of Middx
or either of them, to receive and obey.

WHEREAS Jane Hickey< no role > Singlewoman was

apprehended in the Parish of Saint Dunstan in the West London
as a Rogue and Vagabond wandring abroad lodging in the
open Sir andnot giving a good Accounty of herself
and upon Examination of the said Jane Hickey< no role >
taken before Me upon Oath (which Examination is hereunto
annexed) it doth appear, that the last legal Settlement of said Jane
Hickey is in the said Parish of Saint Giles

½ yr. before her [..] died
the fur. been dead agt 2 yrs.


There are therefore to require You the said William Payne< no role > This name instance is in set 2582.
to convey the said Jane Hickey< no role >

to the Liberty above [..] bars in the Parish of Saints Andrew
in Holborn in the County of Middx
that being the first Liberty in the next Precinct thro' which
She ought to pass, in the direct Way to the said Parish
of Saint Giles to which she is to be sent, and
to deliver her to the Constable or other Officer, of such first
Liberty in such next Precinct, together with this Pass and Dupli-
cate of the Examination of the said Jane Hickey< no role >
taking his Receipt for the same. And the said Jane Hickey< no role >
to be thence conveyed
on in like Manner to the said Parish of Saint Giles
there to be delivered to some Church-Warden, Chapel-Warden, or
Overseer of the Poor , to be provided for according to Law. And you
the said Church-Wardens, Chapel-Wardens, and Overseers of the Poor,
are hereby required to receive the said Jane Hickey< no role >
and provide for her
as aforesaid. Given under my Hand and Seal this 26th
Day of October in the Year of our Lord 177 1
