Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint PaulsNicholasat Deptford
in the County of Kent

Whereas Complaint hath this Day been made unto Us,
two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
City of London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quo-
rum, by the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Giles
London, That Elizabeth Gamson< no role > Wife of Nicholas
Gamson
< no role > who is a Prisoner for Debt in the Borough
Compter did
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and is likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Elizabeth Gamson< no role > as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and We do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Nicholas Gamson< no role > and Elizabeth< no role >
his Wife
to be in the said Parish of SaintNicholasPauls and that thitherto
the said Elizabeth Gamson< no role >
and that thitherto ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Giles
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Elizabeth
Gamson
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
SaintNicholasPauls
And her deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there; or to some or one of them, together with
this our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive
and provide for her according to Law. Given under
our Hands and Seals, this 19th Day of August
One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy two
