To the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor and
other his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
said City at the General Quarter Sessions of
the Peace at Guildhall Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Paul Deptford
in the Counties of Kent and Surry

Humbly Sheweth


That by Warrant or Order of Removal under the
Hands and Seals of William Nash< no role > Mayor and Henry Bankes< no role >
Esquire bearing Date the Nineteenth day of August Instant
Elizabeth Gamson< no role > Wife of Nicholas Gamson< no role > a Prisoner for
Debt in the Borough Compter was removed from the Parish of
Saitn Giles without Cripplegate London to the Parish of Saint
Paul Deptford in the County of Kent as the place of her last
legal Settlement by which We think ourselves Aggreived
and Appeal to this Court against the said Order

Your Petitioners therefore humbly
Pray your Lordship and this Honourable
Court will be Pleased to Grant an a
Order for all Parties to Attend this
Court in Order to the hearing the
Complaint and Defence of both parties
by Evidence and to make such further
Order thereon as the Court shall think
proper.

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc.
