holden for the City of London
at the Guildhall
within the said City
on Monday the first day of July in the Eleventh Year of the Reign
four Sovereign Lord George the third King of Great Britain Etc.
Whereas the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of
Saint Botolph Aldgate
London have Exhibited their Petition and Appeal
to this Court settingforth that by a warrant or Order of Removal under the
hands and Seals of two of His Majesty's Justices of the peace for the City
of London and Liberties thereof (one being of the Quorum) bearing date the
third day of same last Elizabeth Linnard< no role >
aged three Years and upward
was removed from the parish of Saint Giles without Cripplegate
London
to the said Parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate
as the place of her last legal
settlement and that the Petitioners conceiving themselves aggrieved
by the said Order of Removal Did humbly appeal against the same
Wherefore of the request of the said Petitioners It is Ordered that the
benefit of the said Appeal be saved unto them and that the Kenning and
Determination thereof be and the same is hereby adjourned unto the next
General Session of the peace to be holden for the said City at the Guildhall
within the said City on Monday the Ninth day of September next at Eight
of the Clock in the Morning and that due Notice hereof be given to the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
Giles without Cripplegate
