On the prosecution of John Bonnett< no role > for a Misdemeanor

The Joint and several Affidavit of Gumpey Humphrey the
Dept and Abraham sanders< no role > of Pettycoat Lane in the County of
Middlesex Dealer and Chapman And first this Deponent
Gumpey Humphrey< no role > upon his Oath for himself saith that he
cannot with safety proceed to Tryal by reason of one Samuel
Davis being at Exeter who is the principal Evidence for this
Deponent And this Deponent further saith that he has at a
great Expence and Trouble endeavoured to procure the said
Samuel Davis< no role > to give his Testimony upon this Deponents
behalf but that upon such Inquiry he is informed that he has
had the small pox and in a indifferent State of health but
[..] but that he verify beleives that he the said Samuel Davis< no role >
will be in Town about the latter Exp. of July instant And
this Deponent Abraham Sanders< no role > for himself saith that he is
intimately Acquainted with the said Samuel Davis< no role > and did
see the said Samuel Davis< no role > at Exeter about fourteen days ago
in a very Weak Condition having lately recovered from of the
small pox and will be in London the latter End of July or
the beginning of August next if the said Samuel Davis< no role > gets his
Strength to come to London
