Jackle in order to stop the Cart, and immediately
the deced was thrown to the Ground, and the off wheel
went over part of her Body and Head, and Dept. took
the deced into a Chandler's Shop there and she was taken
away by Somebody [..] says She was act over her Eye
and all bleeding, and Dept. was informed the next day, that the
deced died in the Hospital presently after She was
brought thither says the Cart was going Slow, but She
did not observe any Driver to be attending it, says She
can't tell whether the Cart was empty or loaded, but
that she believes it was drawn by three Horses, and can't
say whose Cart & Horses they were and that deponent
verily believes that had the [..] Driver been attending uponuphis
Cart the Accident might have been prevented.

on his Bath saith that last Friday about five o'
Clock Deponent was at his masters at Work it
a Room even with the Street, and saw the School
Mistress endeavouring to Stop the Slaft Horse harnessed
to a Cart then Passing along great Bath Street, and
instantly saw the off Wheel of the Cart to threw down the
deced (Child, and went over her Back & Head but
he did not go out to see in what Condition the child
was in, says the Cart was going very slow, but he did
not see the Driver, and at the [..] he heard a Scream
[..] which occasioned him to look out
the deced was not thrown to the Ground. says he cannot
say how many Horses the Cart was drawn by or whether
it was empty or full, and does not know whose property
the Cart Horses Were.

that last Friday on hearing a great Screaming of men
woman & Children, he ran into the Street, and was
informed that a Child had been run over by a Cart and
seeing, no other Cart besides the Cart which Deponent Stopt
he took the Number which was 8518, and the Name of the
Person Painted on the Cart was Ralph Smith< no role > , says he went to said
