large, but was accidentally met by Mr. Bishop the
Constable, and the [..]
[..] was taken to Mr. Bishop's
House, and he observed that the Driver was very much
in Liquor, says Deponent taxed the Driverdecedwith the
Death of the Child, and he said it was an Accident
and he could not help it says the Cart was drawn by
three Horses and were not very good Horses

her Oath Saith that [..] last Friday on hearing a
great Screaming in the Street she ran to the Street
Door & observed a Cart Passing along very Slow,
and saw a Child under the Cart endeavouring to get
up, and presently afterwards discovered another Child
(meaning the deced) lying on the Ground dead to
appearence, and they being on the further side of the Cart
dept. says the off Wheel Passed over the deced, says She
observed no Driver to have been attending the Cart
and [..] verily believes that the accident would not
have happened had there been a person attending the
Cart.
