At the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace of our Lord the King
holden for the City of London at the Guildhall within the said City
on Tuesday the Twelfth Day of January 1768 in the Eighth Year
of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third King of Great
Britain Etc.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Olave Silver Street in the City of London have exhibited their Petition
to this Court setting forth that Thomas Renoldson< no role > and Charles Renoldson< no role >
Grand Children of ThomasRenoldson< no role > of Aldermanbury in the City of
London Cabinetmaker are poor impotent Children and not able to get their
Living (being totally deserted) whereby they are become chargeable to the
Parish of Saint Olave Silver Street aforesaid and that the said Thomas
Renoldson is the Grandfather of the said Paupers and of sufficient Abilities
to maintain then and therefore prayed that this Court would be pleased to make
such Order in the Premisses for Relief of the Petitioners as the Court
should seem meet Whereupon it is ordered that the final Hearing and
Determination of the Matters of the said Appeal be and the same is hereby
adjourned unto the next General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for
the said City at the Guildhall aforesaid on Monday the Eleventh Day of April
next at Eight of the Clock in the Morning and that the said Thomas
Renoldson have Notice hereof in the mean time that he may attend and shew
Cause why he should not be assessed and charged for the Relief of his said
Grand Children according to the Statute in that behalf.
