The humble Petition of the Churchwardens
& Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Sepulchres in the County of Middlesex
Sheweth
That
Ann Hanson< no role >
is a Poor Old & impotent
Person not able to work or get her Living whereby
she is become Chargeable to the said Parish of Saint
Sepulchre
& is now in the Workhouse
belonging to the
said Parish
That the said Ann Hanson< no role >
hath a Son named
James Hanson< no role >
a Carpenter
& Builders who keeps a great
House and Timber yard on the West side of the Fleet market
London & another Timber yard in the said Parish of St.
Sepulchres
& carrys on a very extensive Trade & who is
of sufficient Ability to maintain his said Mother
Your Petitioners therefore humbly
pray that this Court will be pleased
to make such Order in the Premisses
for the relief of Your Petitioners as they
shall seem meet.
