WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Said
Parish of Saint Stephen
London , That Mary Curtis< no role > This name instance is in set 905. This set is in the group(s): MothersPS . Singlewoman is
lately came to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and is likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Mary Curtis< no role > as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and We do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Mary Curtis< no role >
to be in the said Parish of Christ Church
and that thitherto she ought by Law to be sent.

quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
of the said Parish of Saint Stephen
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Mary Curtis< no role >
and her two Bastard Children to wit Mary< no role > aged three Years
and George < no role > aged about, Two Years from Nurture
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Christ Church
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law, Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 11th Day of December One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Sixty five
