The Humble Petition and
Appeal of the Church Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Saint James within the
Liberty of the Westminster in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by as Pass Warrant or Order under the
Hands and Seals of the Right Honble: Geo: Nelson< no role > Esqr : Lord
Mayor , and F: Cokayne Esqr. one of the Alderman of the said
City two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the same
City and the Liberties thereof (One whereof being of the Quorum)
bearing date the 18th. day of November 1765 , Mary Penny< no role >
Wife of Henry Penny< no role > who is a Sailor abroad in his Majestys
Service was Removed from your said Parish of St. Dunstan
London aforesaid to our said Parish of Saint James as the
Place of her last legal Settlement Whereby your Petitioners
think themselves Aggrieved and Appeal to this Court against
the same

Your Petitioners therefore pray this
Court will be pleased to hear the said
Appeal and to make such Judgment
and Determination therein as to the said
Court shall seem meet.
