Guild hall Assembled on Monday the Fourteenth
Day of October in the Year of our Lord 1765

The Humble petition and Appeal of
the Churchwardens & Oversrs. of ye Poor of ye.
parish of St Matthew Bethnal Green in
the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by a Pass Warrant or Order dated ye.
Seventeenth day of August last under ye. hands and
Seals of her of His Majesty's Justices of ye peace
of the said City Mary Curtis< no role > This name instance is in set 905. This set is in the group(s): MothersPS . with her Illegitimate
Children both Infants of tender Years one named Mary< no role >
and aged three Yearsand the other named George< no role >
and aged one yearwere Removed from the Parish
of St. Stephen Coleman street in that said City to the
said Parish of St. Matthew Bethnal Green
as the place of the Legal Settlemt. of the said Mary
and the said two Children with her for Nurture

That Your Petrs. Apprehend themselves
to be Aggrieved by the said Order or pass Warrt.
and the Appeal to this Court against ye same

Your Petrs. & Appellts. therefore humbly pray
Your Worships that the said Order or pass
Warrant may be Vacated & Quashed
And that this thin Appeal against ye same
may be Allowed with Maintenances
