The humble Petition & Appeal of the Churchwardens
& Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Clement Dane
in the County of Middx

Sheweth

That by Order under the Hands & Seals of the
Right Honble Wm Stephenson< no role > Lord Mayor & Sr Samuel
Flydyer< no role > Knight and Baronet two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the City of London (One of the Quorum) Bearing
Date the 24th of Novr. 1761 Mary Atkinson< no role > Widow
was Removed from the Parish of St. Andrew in Holborn
London to the said Parish of St. Clement Danes as the place
of her last legal Settlement whereby your Petitioners
concieve themselves to be, aggrieved & against the said
Order do Appeal

Your Petitions therefore humbly
Pray that the Benefit of the said
Appeal may be saved to them and
that the hearing & Determinig
there of may be Adjourned untill
the next General Session of the
Peace to be holden for the said City
of London
