The humble Petition and appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Eltham
in the County
of Kent
Sheweth
That by an Order under the Hands and Seals of your Lordship
and Sir

Justices of the Peace
for the said City of London
one of whom is
of the Quorum bearing Date the first Day of October instant
Elizabeth Scofield< no role >
widow

Edward Scofield< no role >
deceased was
removed from the Parish of Saint Peter le Poor in Broad Street
London to the said Parish of Eltham
in Kent as the Place of
her last legal Settlement by which Order your Petitioners
apprehand themselves to be aggrieved
Your Petitioners therefore humbly appeal to this
honorable Court and pray that the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
Peter le Poor London and all Parties concerned may
attend the said Court some day in this present Session
to hear and abide the Judgement and Determination
of the said Court touching the said appeal And that
your Petitioners may have such Relief in the
Promises as to the said Court shall seem meet
And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
