These are to Certifye that at the General Sessions of the
Peace of our Lord the King holden for the County of Middx
at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the said County on
Monday the Tenth day of December last a Bill of Indictment
was preferred against Thomas Jackson< no role > late of the pa [..]
of St. Paul Shadwell Labourer Edward Hatfield< no role > [..]
of the same place Labourer Archibald Duncan< no role > late of
the same place Labourer and John Mackrell< no role > late of
the same place Labourer For feloniously stealing
taking and carrying away Six pounds weight of Sugar
of the value of Two Shillings of the Goods and Chattells of
certain persons unknown And that the same Bill of
Indictment was then and there by the Grand [..] for the
County aforesaid returned these Endorsed Not found and
on which said Bill of Indictment are also Endorsed the
Names Alexander Ramsay< no role > and Alexander Clarke< no role > as the
persons who gave Evidence before the Grand Jury touching
the Felony therein contained Dated this 7th. day of October
1765
