s of the same City severally make Oath
and say as follows And first the said John Howe< no role >
for himself saith that he
saw Basil Goode< no role >
Keeper
of his Majesty's Gaol in and for the said City sign
and subscribe his Name to the Certificate or Paper Writing hereto annexed
and that the Felony expressed in the Commitment mentioned in the said
Certificate and for which William Huffam< no role >
is now a Prisoner in the said
Gaol was as this Deponent believes having heard the said Huffam confess the same committed at the City of Coventry
aforesaid in the Workshop or Dyehouse
there belonging to him this Deponent and that he this Deponent hath
entered into and now is under a Recognizance to our Sovereign Lord the King in
Forty pounds to prosecute the said William Huffam< no role >
for the same Felony
at the next General Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be held on Monday the Fifteenth day
of July next for the City and County of the City of Coventry
aforesaid that being the
first Session after the Commitment of the said William Huffam< no role >
to the said Gaol
as aforesaid and that in pursuance of the said Recognizance he this Deponent does
intend to prosecute the said Huffam for the said Felony at the said Session And
the said John Hawtin< no role >
for himself saith the John Bilson< no role >
now or late of
Prim Rose Alley
in Prim Rose street London Silkweaver
having been charged
as an Accessary in the said Felony was apprehended by him this Deponent and
officers in London and committed to Woodstreet Counter
for the same but Oath
since as he this Deponent hath been informed and believe been delivered
therefrom upon Bail.
