This Depont. says that on Allen receiving the Blow she heard
her Skull Crack like the Cracking of a Walnut and she
instantly fell down & fell into a fit. This Dept. being
Shock'd sayd to Bell you wicked Jade you have kill'd
the Woman to which she thus expressed herself "Kill'd
her, then I shall be hang'd and the Devil Care for That
Says further that the prisr. Bell was sober all the time
for any thing this Deponent perceived to the Contrary Says
that Allen when she came to herself acquainted this
Deponent that she had known Bell about three Weeks
only but did not discover any former Quarrel or ill
will between them.

she assisted her & wrapped her up with her Cloak and
saw her conducted to the Hospital and the wound
on her head pros [..] ed when the Blood ran like a
Cock and 'twas the opinion of all present she cod.
