Oath and saith that Martha Hurst< no role > came to
live with Dept. as a Servant about three Months
ago, that last Thursday the said Hurst
seemed not to be any well but did her Business
as usual, that she was not apparently worse
till last Sunday when she kept her Room
that Dept after the Evening Suspire of that day went into her room andtheyasked her what her Actment
was who answered that she had pains in her
Bowells, that Dept. abt. 7 o'Clock the same
Evening went up again to her when she was
in Bed andseemed totold Dept.to be& he was better:that she
appointed to bebut seemed to Dept. to be very
faint and Low; that Dept. then suspected that
she had miscarried or had been delivered of a
child, but perceving her to be very weak & ill
thought it not a seasonable time to tax her
with it, and the reasons of her Suspicion
were grounded on her having looked into
the Bed and discovered all the marks of a
Womans being delivered of a Child; that Dept.
took several Bloody Cloths from her & gave her
clean over inthetheir Room, that Dept. also saw
sevl. Clods of Blood in the Bed & some on the Hon
that Dept. was with her [..] backwards & forwards till
12 at night when Dept. went to Bed & laid in Bed
