Poor of the Parish of Alhallows the Less
London, and the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint George in Southwark in
the County of Surry
and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, One being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Alhallows the Less
London, That Robert Southam< no role > , Jane< no role > his Wife and their
three Children to wit Dina< no role > aged ten Years, William aged< no role >
nine Years and Jane< no role > aged Two Years did

lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become
chargeable thereto, unless timely prevented, which Com-
plaint We the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof,
as well upon the Oath of the said Robert Southam< no role >
as otherwise, do adjudge to be true; and We do also ad-
judge the last legal Settlement of the said Robert Southam< no role >
Jane his Wife and Dina William and Jane their Children

to be in the said Parish of Saint George in Southwark in the
County of Surry aforesaid
and that thitherto they ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and
require you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Alhallows the Less
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Robert
Southam, Jane his Wife and Dina William and Jane
their Children
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint George
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Over-
seers of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together
with this our Order, who is and are hereby required to re-
ceive and provide for them according to Law. Given
under our Hands and Seals, this fifteenth
Day of December One Thousand Seven Hundred
andFifty sixty two
