Libertys thereof at their General Quarter Session
of ye peace Assembled on Monday ye 11th. day of
April in the year 1763
.
The humble Petition and Appeal of ye Churchwardens &
Overseers of ye poor of the parish of St. Mary White Chapel
in ye County of Middlesex
Sheweth
That by a pass Warrant or Order of Removal
under ye hands & Seals of two of his Majesty's Justices of ye
peace for the said City and Libertys thereof (whereof one
is of ye Quorum) bearing date the Sixteenth Day of March
last past one

therein mentioned & described to
be a Child
about four years of Age & a Bastard and sayd
to be lately come to reside in the parish of St. Botolph
without Aldersgate
London not having obtained any
Legal Settlement there and likely to become Chargeable
thereto Unless timely prevented, the the said Mary was
Removed from the said Parish of St. Botolph
to the said
parish of St. Mary White Chapel
as the place of her
last legal Settlement
That Your Petitioners Apprehend themselves to
be aggrieved by the said Order or pass warrant and
therefore do Appeal against the same
Your Petrs. & Appellts. thereupon do humbly
pray that this their Appeal may be Adjourned to
the next General Quarter Session of ye peace to
be holden for the said City and Libertys thereof
And that the Respondts. and all other parties
concerned may have Notice then and there to attend
to bear and abide the Judgmt. & datemt. of ye Court
touching the said Appeal
